Acnezine Review – A Full Lay Out Of This Product And Other Options

As with all of my reviews, this Acnezine review is not going to tell you that this is indeed the product for you absolutely and without question. It just doesn’t work that way, some products are better for others and it’s up to you to decide what might work best for you. In addition to reviewing Acnezine and its strengths as a product we’re also going to go into a few other products that are somewhat similar in nature and also an occasionally recommended antibiotic that I believe has serious side effects and should be avoided at all costs.

Having bad acne is one of the worst things in the world, and it causes people to occasionally take drastic measures in order to solve the problem. Oftentimes people turn to dermatologists, and in the most severe cases of acne a dermatologist made try to prescribe you a product called Accutane. This is the one conventional medical product that I recommend people never ever use. It has serious side effects which are well documented. Alright, that’s enough about that, but I want people to be aware of the dangers of that route.

Now, Acnezine on the other hand works with your body to eliminate your acne and it does so with a two-step system which includes a topical crème and a dietary supplement. The topical crème contains your moisturizer and acne fighter in one product, some other systems will separate the two.

The acne fighter is benzoyl peroxide based and the moisturizer contains a lot of natural ingredients like citrus, aloe, and green tea extracts. I found the product to be just about as effect as a three step system and for the price of around $30 you won’t find a better product.

Sometimes we can’t afford more expensive systems like you may find places on the internet or in department stores, and that’s alright because this system is solid. It won’t over dry your skin like over the counter products will.

Speaking of more expensive products, there is a line of more expensive products which is really outstanding called Zenmed, it’s a whole line of products for different skin types. But, again these products cost a good bit more money and may be out of the price range of a lot of folks. I simply mention it as another good option. Another might be Clearpores.
Acnezine stacks up well against products like Proactiv, I feel, because of the added dietary supplement. I find that fighting acne has as much to do with what we put inside our bodies as what we put on our skin.

In addition to taking the dietary supplement, I recommend cleaning up your diet, eliminating junk food, adding a good bit of fiber, and eating more fresh produce. A lot of people may not believe it, but this is very important to fighting blemishes. If our insides are unbalanced it will create a much bigger imbalance on our skin. Drinking a lot of pure water is also very helpful. Hitting your problem from a lot of different angles will give you the best results, as I have always maintained.

I truly hope this Acnezine review has given you a better understanding of this product and why it’s a good acne fighting option, especially if you’re on a budget.

Blue light therapy for acne has been around for quite some time and it has been proven to be highly effective in treating acne. The problem has always been that at home treatments with blue light therapy didn’t really exist. In order to get light therapy you had to see a dermatologist and the costs were really high.

And, in addition to the costs being high, these costs were not covered by most insurance plans like other trips to the skin doctor usually are. At $100 to $200 dollars per visit, with multiple visits required, the costs added up fast. But, nowadays there have been a few revolutions in the industry, making at home light therapy units completely cost effective and very popular. The Blue MD Acne Light is just such a product.

Now you can safely and gently clear up your skin at home with a product that costs around two hundred and fifty dollars total. (You may be able to find it for less, but not much less, all the online stores that I searched had pretty much the same pricing.) So, basically, for about the cost of one light therapy session at the dermatologist you can buy your own at home acne treatment light. Needless to say people are quite happy about that fact.

Please don’t confuse this with laser acne treatment, as far as I am aware lasers cannot be used in the privacy of your own home for acne treatment, and I would imagine it might be quite dangerous.

On the other hand, the Blue MD Acne Light is not dangerous at all and all it takes is three treatments per week to begin clearing your skin up. Each treatment should last about twenty minutes and again it’s completely safe and painless.

This device works by slowly killing the bacteria on the skin, the ones which cause acne. How it works exactly is beyond me but it is an FDA approved treatment which should make everyone feel a lot more at ease about using one. That’s how it made me feel. The sensation of using the device are almost non-existent to be honest, you can feel a little heat but that’s about it.

What the manufacturers of Blue MD don’t really say is that you also have to take good care of your skin. You can’t just use the machine and everything will clear up no matter what. It’s not that easy. You have to think of this therapy as an add on, a very powerful add on therapy. In other words, you still have to wash your face with a good cleanser, and you should work on improving your diet as well.

I found I got the best results when I used the Blue MD regularly, followed a healthy diet, washed my face each morning and evening, and wore a night mask to clear up the last few remaining pimples. It’s really that easy. It doesn’t really take a lot more time out of your schedule to use it and see a lot better results from your acne regimen.

Using blue light therapy for acne gives us one more powerful tool in the fight against acne; if you haven’t been totally satisfied with the products that you’ve been using adding this final knock-out blow could be the answer you’re looking for.

The intention of this review is that it will make any buying decision that you make down the line a good one for you and will help you in obtaining your best end result, and a much clearer complexion.

The acne industry is full of scams and well intentioned products that don’t really do much good at all. In all honestymany people may have to try a few different products in order to find the one product or combination of products that works well for their particular skin type.

Also, using external topical products may not be enough for a complete acne cure in many cases, especially with more aggressive forms of acne, the Murad Acne Complex will work much better with some mild detoxification regimens and a change in diet, focusing on eating more alkaline foods and more fruits and vegetables, as well as adding more fiber. If your complexion is important to you you’ve got to throw everything you’ve got at it.

First off, the Murad Acne Complex has a nice price tag, it costs about a dollar a day and you receive three top notch products that are all proven to fight acne and keep your skin looking great — a moisturizing lotion, a cleanser, and an exfoliating gel. Often times using just one product is not enough to encourage you skin to clear up fully.

Our skin must be clean, our pores must be open, and our skin has to have the proper moisture levels so that it doesn’t become even more inflamed. Murad’s exfoliating gel is particularly gentle which was so important for me. Fighting acne can be difficult because treating it can cause the skin to become more inflamed, these products have proven to be gentle and effective.

The cleanser uses salicylic acid as its main acne fighting ingredient and this is a proven ingredient that’s in many acne products. If you’ve tried products with salicylic acid before and had good success then this product should also work very well. Other acne fighting ingredients that are commonly used would include benzoyl peroxide and glycolic acid, for example.
To tell you a tiny little bit about my background, I was once a Proactiv user and I got decent results from the product, especially when I paid attention to my diet and ate enough green vegetables. However, I wasn’t floored by the results, so I went out on a limb and tried the Murad system because it made sense to me.

All in all, for my skin, it has worked better. I can’t tell you exactly why, perhaps it’s the exfoliating gel that’s really opening up my skin and cleaning out the dead skin and dirt, I’m not sure.

These two products are similar in that they are very gentle and can break the acne cycle if used consistently; in fact I believe that these are two of the best acne products on the market. It’s just that the Murad product worked better for me.

Always remember to attack your acne problem with topical medicine and diet, as I have; it’s your best chance at the best result.

Thank you so much for reading my entire Murad Acne Complex review, I imagine you have a better overview of the product and how it can help you with your skin in conjunction with a healthy whole foods diet and plenty of water.

Microdermabrasion And Some Alternatives To Consider For Acne Scarring

Anyone who’s suffered from the condition of acne knows that it’s a condition that lowers self-esteem and causes emotional trauma. The majority of acne suffers are teenagers (although not all) and once through their formative years their acne generally clears up altogether.

However, for people who suffered from severe forms of acne with repeated breakouts, many times acne scarring will form…and these scars don’t go away once puberty is in the past and the acne has cleared up.

Having to deal with acne scarring may cause more self-esteem problems and trauma throughout a person’s adult life. However the good news is that in today’s modern technologically advanced era skin care specialists have developed several effective methods to remove acne scars from a patient’s skin, one of the most well-known of these methods is called microdermabrasion.

Microdermabrasion for acne scars improvement gets mixed reviews, with those with the shallowest acne scarring benefiting the most. But, repeated microdermabrasion treatments can produce results for deeper scarring in conjunction with other skin resurfacing techniques.

Microdermabrasion works by removing the top layer of skin called the stratum corneum, causing the deeper skin layers to produce more collagen and new skin cells. Along with these new skin cells will appear a layer of healthy new skin, removing some of the scarring. Repeated treatments over a number of weeks is most likely the only way to see excellent results. Microdermabrasion may also be used to correct stretch marks, enlarged pores, or wrinkled skin as well.

While taking Accutane a patient’s skin lacks sufficient protective oils and serious skin damage may occur.

Alternatives to microdermabrasion for acne scars include what’s known as a glycolic peel, in which the outer skin layers are burned off by a mild acid. Doing a glycolic peel at home or receiving one from someone who is not a trained esthetician is not recommended, this procedure is generally safe but does carry some risk.

As with any acne scar removal treatment, you should be cautious in moving forward and proceed slowly. Keeping your skin from further damage should be your highest priority, however don’t be deterred from experimenting modestly and then increasing treatment is you see a good result without any damage.

Glycolic peels should never be used by breastfeeding women, and although some dermatologists do recommend these chemicals peels, others frown upon the procedure. Again, use common sense and cautionary discretion and you should be fine.

Another popular alternative to microdermabrasion is called laser resurfacing. This procedure is generally performed by a plastic surgeon or a derma surgeon and because of the expensive equipment involved can be quite expensive. As with glycolic peels and microdermabrasion techniques, the skin’s outer layers are removed, although in this case pulses of light are used to do the dirty work.

The common consensus among skin care professionals is that all of these acne scar removing techniques can be effective and yet all carry some risk. There does not seem to be a clear winner here, and specialists will continue to debate which method is best.

Well, you’ve come to the right place. I realize that you’re wondering if Your Last Acne Solution really works, and I will answer that question for you definitively.

Ok, so here’s my absolute no BS, honest Your Last Acne Solution review.

First of all, I do believe it can be very helpful for most if not all people, especially in cases of severe acne, like cystic acne for example. (Which was what I had!)

But, in my opinion, this acne fighting program will be most effective for people with really bad acne who have tried over the counter topical creams, acne specific cleansers, scrubs, cleansing masks, and such products with no effect.

These products work really well…for people that have mild cases of acne…for those of us with bad acne, like I used to have, all those products do is make our skin more red, dried out, and peeled, they don’t make the acne go away…ever.

And while, I did see a dermatologist a few years ago and did get decent results from using tetracycline and a special topical cream that he recommended…the antibiotics (tetracycline) made me really sick, and had side effects…which I’ve learned is very, very common. Then, I started reading about antibiotics and how they can make acne worse once you go off of it, and how they literally punch holes in your gut creating even more problems like depression and candida…I was done with doctors.

For the average results I was getting (I was clearing up, but not completely) I thought to myself there has to be another way.

That led me to homeopathic remedies, detox diets, changing my diet a ton, eating my vegetables, drinking pure water, eating my essential fatty acids and so on.

To be honest, these things helped a lot…but I wasn’t until I found Your Last Acne Solution that my acne finally and completely disappeared and I achieved a total cure. However, I do believe that the other natural acne treatment methods that I discovered on my own helped too.

The sales page of the product is honestly I little filled with hype and a little misleading. Because the program is basically natural acne treatments that work to correct our hormonal imbalance, allowing our bodies to heal and get better.

But the product, does have absolutely dynamite and in depth acne treatment methods that really work and it will educate you on how to get a “quick fix” to clear your skin fast and also teach you more long term methods to keep your skin clear.

There’s a lot of great information there, stuff that I had never heard about and I had been researching natural methods that balance the hormones to clear the skin for many months.

All and all it’s a very reasonable price for information that really works, they’ve done all the work for you and save you a ton of time and research. And, it works on even really, really bad cases of acne, like mine. I give it a thumbs up, don’t believe all the hype, but do buy the product, it’s a winner.

Light therapy for acne is actually an older technique, it’s been around for many years (also called phototherapy) and it works quite well. In fact,in numerous studies involving different types of light and laser therapy the end results have been fantastic.

However, the costs of using light therapy in an office are generally around $100 to $200 dollars per treatment, and that cost is not usually covered under health insurance plans. Not to mention that light therapy needs several treatments to work and the results tend to fade if the light therapy is not continued.

Therefore, up until several years ago using light therapy wasn’t an option for most people, but in recent years at home light therapy systems have emerged, ones that work as well as those in the doctor’s office and are affordable enough for many people to actually buy.

Nowadays you don’t have to go through eight sessions over four weeks at $150 dollars a pop to see a great result, you can just buy an at home device for around $250 to $350 dollars retail and you can give yourself at home treatments anytime you like. It’s simply a much more affordable and sane option. The results are great and it keeps costs way down.

Now, having said that, this is a device that you’ll want to keep in good working order and really get a lot of mileage out of, getting the extended warranty is a very smart idea.

In case you were wondering, light therapy works mainly by killing the bacteria that cause acne on the skin, it’s also thought that certain light frequencies decreases our sebum from producing excess oil. In any case, it works.

Using light therapy for acne and some other skin conditions (eczema, and psoriasis) at home is an idea whose time has come. And perhaps one day soon at-home laser therapy will also be an everyday phenomenon, as laser therapy (especially with a 1450-nm diode laser) has been shown to be effective in killing the bacteria that cause acne and improving the condition.

Two blue light therapy devices, the most common light variety, that work especially well and are easy to find are the Baby Quasar Blue Laser Light and the Blue MD Acne Therapy Treatment System. Blue light therapy has been shown to be one of the most effective light therapies in treating acne in many studies.

Using light therapy for acne is something that was once only reserved for the wealthy, however with newer and cheaper at-home devices it’s a method that’s sure to gain in popularity. Using it in combination with other therapies is a wonderful idea in order to ensure a complete success.

Baby Quasar – Baby Blue

The Baby Quasar Blue Laser Light System treats acne through the miracle of blue light. It only takes a few minutes every day to make your skin beautiful and clear. It’s approved for at-home use and is dermatologist recommended for all skin types and all skin tones. The system works by releasing porphyrins on the skin which produces free radicals which in turn kill p. acne bacteria, the root cause of acne vulgaris. The system is gentle, safe, and completely painless and most people begin to see results within just a week or two. Although, it retails for several hundred dollars, it is much less costly than repeated laser acne treatments in a doctor’s office.

The Blue MD Acne Light Therapy Treatment System is one of a new generation of at-home laser acne therapy devices. Blue light therapy is FDA approved to treat acne by killing the bacteria that cause excess oil on the face and other parts of the body. This model has dermatologist grade levels of light and is a bargain in the marketplace with other similar models selling for much more. All it takes is three 20 minutes sessions per week to control acne and keep your skin looking beautiful. If your acne is more severe you may use the product up to twice per day. This at-home laser therapy clears your skin and even prevents new breakouts.

But, in years past doing it at home just wasn’t an option. That is no longer the case, enter the Baby Quasar photorejuvenation light therapy system, blue light acne fighting therapy at home.

This device may seem expensive but it’s actually a bargain if you think about it. You have to weigh the costs with the benefits. Yes, the retail price is approximately $350, but the cost of light therapy from a doctor over an eight week period can be as much as $1600, and the results usually don’t last. So, having a blue light device for home use for so little money is actually a great value. You’ll use this machine for a long, long time and continue to reap the benefits.

Besides, now there are no embarrassing doctor’s visits to deal with, which is an added bonus. It’s nice and convenient to treat yourself at home. You might expect this blue light to hurt or sting, but that is not the case at all. It actually feels kind of good, it’s relaxing and all you feel is a bit of heat.

The Baby Quasar can be used for a few minutes a day or for a little longer every other day. But the time commitment is definitely minimal, only about 10 to 20 minutes per session. The nice thing too is that you can use it twice per day if you’re acne is kind of out of control in the beginning, that should bring the inflammation way down fast.

Using photorejuvenation at home is convenient, effective, easy, and all of that. But, the reality is that you shouldn’t expect to completely clear up your acne if you only use this machine. You still have to do all the right things, like wash your face with a good cleanser, moisturize your skin with an oil free moisturizer, use a refining mask, exfoliate your skin periodically, and improve your diet. It’s a great tool, my Baby Quasar and I’m glad to have it, but use your common sense about your skin to see the best results.

The best results are achieved , in my opinion, by using the light therapy about every other day so as not to over dry the skin (more if you need it in the beginning), wash your face with a non-drying cleanser at least twice a day, exfoliate and use a clay mask about once a week, and clean up your dietary habits.

What do I mean about cleaning up the diet exactly? Well, it’s pretty straightforward really, I would get yourself a good probiotic supplement, increase your purified water intake, increase your fiber intake (with a supplement or with food), and perhaps do some mini-detoxes. Getting your immune system up and your body healthy definitely helps in clearing up your skin.

Think of the Baby Quasar photorejuvenation light therapy system as something that will help you to get your clearest skin yet. Remember it’s FDA approved and proven to kill the bacteria on your skin that cause acne.

Zenmed Derma Cleanse System is probably the most popular of the Zenmed line of acne products. There are other products but this one is the one that is most appropriate for most people. It fights acne and balances typical skin types.

There are also products for mature skin types, very oily skin types, and combination skin too. Each product will be a little different in its formulation in order to treat the various skin types. This is a really nice feature for people with adult acne or really oily skin, as it gives you another option entirely. But, for this review we’ll focus on the main Zenmed Derma Cleanse System.

The advertisement on the main website is slightly difficult to decipher as it says that there are four products when in reality there are only really three products, however you receive two bottles of Zenmed Derma Cleanse Capsules instead of just one. It’s a little confusing, but if you read closely it all becomes clear. The capsules are included for the purpose of helping to eliminate toxins from the body and although they are a step in the right direction, I feel that most people may need a little more help.

Cleaning our your system, detoxing, and making sure your elimination organs are functioning at their maximum is essential to preventing breakouts. Probably the most important things that you can do are to take a fiber supplement like psyllium and drink plenty of purified water. In addition, eat more green vegetables. Lastly, minimize foods which are known to clog up our systems like junk foods and processed foods. Sorry folks.

In addition to using the three step system, taking steps like those just mentioned are very important to controlling your acne, never overlook the simple, natural things. Acne is a sign of imbalance within the system and the more things that you can do to balance your system the better.

Some people make take a look at the price tag on the Zenmed Derma Cleanse System and think…hey, this is a scam, benzoyl peroxide creams cost just a few dollars. However, you have to take note of the quality of the ingredients and the products that you’re purchasing. Yes, this is a high end system, but you get what you pay for, and if you can afford it, it is definitely worth the extra dollars.

Zenmed Derma Cleanse Acne Gel, for example, is a triple acid product, whereas most acne gels only have one active ingredient. Some product will use benzoyl peroxide which is a cheaper solution, but not this product. The overall quality is what make it a good value. And I definitely thought it was superior to the host of $30 products that you can find online. My skin felt smoother and healthier in addition to being clear, so for me that’s worth it.

Also, the Facial Cleansing Gel, the third product, is made from expensive botanicals and is completely PH balanced, how many other acne products can say that? From my research, very few are of this quality.

Zenmed Derma Cleanse System can also be bought in bulk to save some of your hard earned money. My advice would be to try it for a month and if you like the results buy a three month supply.

Thankfully the art and science of treating acne keeps marching onwards and upwards each and every year. And this year is no exception, so, without further ado, here is a very quick review of some of the very best acne products of 2010.

Murad Acne Complex , Acnezine , Zenmed Derma Cleanse System

It seems that the acne industry is starting to integrate of a lot of their products into complete kits making it easier to buy three or four products in one shot. This is a great strategy and very beneficial for our complexions because using just one product generally won’t cut the mustard, as they say.

The Murad Acne Complex is one of the better products this year and it comes with three different products combined into one, making it a very healthy and well-rounded product. There is a deep cleanser, an exfoliating gel, and a moisturizing lotion. It’s a balanced approach and is sure to be a successful product for many users.

Two other hybrid products (Clearpores & Acnezine) are extremely interesting in that they combine external acne fighters as well as internal ones. This is another good well-rounded approach that’s sure to produce better results than just simply using one or two products. And it has been well documented that internal issues are just as important for the health of our skin as external ones. In fact, it’s highly recommended that you always take a two pronged approach; cleaning up your diet and taking supplements in addition to using topical medicines is an excellent one-two-punch.

Clearpores is a three step system which features a full 90 day risk free guarantee, making it a very attractive offer for doubters. It combines a proprietary herbal supplement, a deep facial cleanser, and a special moisturizer. Again, this product hits acne and skin issues from multiple angles giving people a much better chance for success. Acnezine is a two-step approach; it combines its moisturizer and acne medication into one topical cream and also provides an internal supplement component. In addition to basic vitamins, its supplement includes cur-cumin, which is derived from turmeric a proven acne fighter and detoxifying agent.

Finally, there are two excellent products which have emerged in the light therapy category; these are products that you can use at home (no more doctors’ visits). Light therapy used to be something that you could only get done in a doctor’s office and the cost was usually out of pocket, making it very cost prohibitive for most people.
While our two picks (the Blue MD Acne Light Therapy System and the Baby Quasar Blue Laser Light) cost several hundred dollars, many see it as a wise investment as this treatment is very effective and it’s something that can be used for years and years.

Well, there you have it, some of the best acne products of 2010, remember combining approaches often leads to the best successes. Here’s to your best skin ever, this year and into your bright future.

Murad Acne Complex retails for just $29.95, which includes shipping costs. It is a three step acne fighting system which contains a cleanser, an acne treatment gel, and a perfecting moisturizer as well. The Clarifying Cleanser kills 99.9% of surface skin bacteria in just a few seconds. The Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel unclogs pores and eliminates impurities in the skin, reducing breakouts within days of use. And, the Skin Perfecting Lotion uses arnica, hyaluronic acid, queen of meadow, and retinol to sooth inflamed skin, reduce oil production, and encourage rapid skill cell turnover. This proven three step system is a complete acne regimen.

Acnezine is a two-step acne fighting system which clears your skin while working on both the inside and on the outside of your body. There is no prescription necessary and no need to visit a dermatologist. The acne moisturizing crème should be used one to three times a day and contains benzoyl peroxide along with aloe, green tea, and citrus to sooth inflammation while drying up acne. The Acnezine dietary supplement contains anti-oxidants like B, C, and E vitamins, along with hydrolyzed collagen, CoQ10, and hyaluronic acid. Take one capsule per day on an empty stomach for best results. This system has no side effects and works with your body naturally.
