Glycolic Acid Facial Cleanser
Less Acne Breakouts & Healthier Skin
A glycolic acid facial cleanser will obviously contain glycolic acid in the product, however often times glycolic acid creams come separatelyin a multi-step cleansing kit with a separate cleanser and toner. There as many different glycolic cleansing products, it seems, as there are people.
It’s certainly difficult to pin point who makes the best glycolic acid cleanser. But, you really don’t have to find the absolute best product… you simply have to find a product that works best for you particular skin type.
Sensitive skin types may not respond well to glycolic acid at all, or may only respond well to products with a greatly diluted amount of glycolic acid.
Some skin care products will have a salicylic acid base and others with contain both salicylic and glycolic acid. The best advice is to try out of few of these products and see which one helps reduce acne and oil on your skin, and which one helps to make your skin look it’s very best.
The interesting thing about all these various cleansers and kits is that the ingredient lists and the amount of the ingredients in each formula is going to vary greatly…so you really are almost forced to try a few different brands.
Once you find a glycolic acid facial cleanser that works for you, obviously stick with it. It will keep your own personal skin type ph balanced, fresh, and clean.
When a glycolic acid cleanser isn’t enough to keep your skin from breaking out, you need to increase the power of your acne fighting regimen. The first step would be to try an over the counter benzoyl peroxide topical medication. For some these work very well, for others they unfortunately don’t and they may leave a person’s skin red and irritated. However, it is inexpensive and is certainly worth a try.
Facial cleansers, and topical over the counter medications aren’t your only weapons against acne, although keeping your skin clean and reducing oil are major components of a smart acne fighting plan.
You can also use herbal and homeopathic remedies, which treat your insides, along with doctor prescribed antibiotics and special prescription acne creams if you acne problem is serious enough. If you acne is severe you may need to consult a dermatologist right way in order to begin treatment quickly and contain the condition.
Of course, a lot of people don’t see any benefits from conventional medicine or do not believe in its philosophy of treatment, in that case the use of herbs and homeopathic remedies are a great alternative. These acne remedies focus on removing inflammation and toxins from the body in order to regain balance and give the body a chance to heal itself. Of course, plan on restricting your diet some and working at it, you won’t receive a full cure by popping a couple turmeric capsules once and forgetting about it.
All in all a glycolic acid wash and glycolic acid facial cleansers are a good first step in combatting acne and improving your skin, almost everyone can benefit from using these products. However, often additional measures are needed for a real improvement.

I love that it was so very affordable for such a generous amount. I have suffered from hormonal/cystic acne off and on for 15 years and this has remedied that issue i believe for the long haul. I also use the other Glytone products and credit them with maintaining my skin better than those expensive derm prescriptions. It leaves your face clean and removes makeup very well. I’ve been using this gel along with other glytone products and have noticed a substantial improvement in the texture of my skin, my pores are less visible, brown spots have diminished and overall my skin looks younger and fresher.

The product is a blue gel facial wash with a low percentage of glycolic acid in it. The gel is nice because you can squirt out just the right amount and it won’t run off your hand. I can leave it on my face a little bit longer while I wash and not be adversely affected by the acid. My face looks fresh and healthy, even though I still have some sun damage. I don’t care for the smell that much,the scent is mild but a little “tangy”. A nice citrus scent like the mild cream wash would be nice.

I started using this in my early 40′s on the advice of my teenaged daughter’s dermatologist. Now in my 50′s, no one can believe my age and I think it’s mainly due to my skin. I use no foundation or other makeup on my skin and it still looks great. I can’t say if it’s ALL due to this product, but I don’t want to take a chance and stop using Exuviance!

This is a bioglycolic cleanser specifically for oily skin. I have used this product for 3 years and it is great at loosening up oil in the pores. It also helps keep up with the removal of dead skin cells, which of course cause acne if they build up on the face. It is the best product I’ve ever used for acne. I started using the regular Marini Bioglycolic Cleanser (not the one for oily skin). It was helpful, but having oily skin, I like the formula for oily best. I am 34 years old and have used acne products since I was 14 years old. I found this product 5 years ago.
